R-Drive Image is a powerful and reliable solution for creating disk images. It helps backing up or duplicating and transferring entire systems, as it creates disk images that contain the exact, byte-by-byte copy of the selected hard drive, disk partition or logical disk.

One of the most important advantages of this application is the fact that it allows shrinking the disk images using different compression levels. It allows storing the created disk images on any location and device, including removable media such as CD-R(W)/DVD, Iomega Zip or Jazz disks, etc.

Another thing that I like about this tool is that creating a disk image doesn’t hinder in any way the performance of your computer. While you create a disk image you can also use your computer and perform your usual tasks without any problem. Other similar programs usually freeze the computer and make it unusable while creating the disk images.

Though it might sound like a complicated tool that can be effectively used only by professional and experienced users, R-Drive Image is in fact very easy-to-use. It comes with a wizard interface that guides the users step by step through the available procedures.

In my opinion, the best thing about R-Drive Image is that it can offer the help needed to quickly and easily restore a system after a major crash and avoid any unwanted data loss. Last but not least, it supports various file systems, even other than FAT and NTFS, and it includes a handy scheduler.

In conclusion, there’s nothing to criticize about R-Drive Image. It’s a truly great tool and I’m sure it will impress anyone that chooses it, as it did to me too.

I do not like the "signature conflict" aspect, that does not occur in any other cloning software
